Returns / Exchanges
Products may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of the delivery date if the following conditions are met:
- The item is in an unused and new / commercially resalable condition.
- The item does not smell of tobacco or smoke of any kind.
- The item is unmodified with all parts and pieces included.
- The Item is in the original packaging or shrink wrapping.
- Item was purchased directly from Wired Watts, LLC
- You have a valid RMA from our support team
If the item falls outside of these guidelines, it is only eligible to be serviced under its warranty.
Non-Refundable Items
Certain items cannot be returned or refunded at all due to the nature of their design. These items are:
- Gift Cards
- Completed Services
- Installation Fees
- Shipping Costs
- Downloadable Software Type Products
- Custom Ordered / Custom Designed Items
- "As-Is" or "No Return" or "No Warranty" Items
- Items that are damaged, unsanitary, missing major contents or not in a like-new condition
- Promotional products or free products
Returns
You may initiate a return or exchange by calling us at 1-860-GOT-WATTS or sending us an email at info@wiredwatts.com. When reaching out, please include the following information:
- Your name
- Order number
- If you would like to return or exchange the product
- Reason for return / exchange
- If you would like to exchange the product, what would you like to exchange the product for. Please include the product and quantity of product for exchange.
- Indicate if you would like to use our shipping rates for the return / exchange
If you would like to use our shipping rates, a shipping label will be sent to you via email. If our shipping rates are being used for a return, the cost of the shipping will be deducted from the amount refunded. If you wish to ship on your own, please send merchandise to Wired Watts, 1765 Grassland Parkway Ste A, Alpharetta, GA 30004. Once the product is received, please allow up to 5 business days for a refund. Shipping and handling are non-refundable. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Exchanges
If you wish to make an exchange for a product that is out of stock, we will process the return as a refund and not an exchange. If there is a difference in price for the exchange in product, we will charge or credit the card used for the difference in price. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs. If you would like to use our shipping rates for exchanges, costs will be billed to the customer.
Residual Data
If the returned / exchanged item has any data or information stored on a memory or storage device, Wired Watts, LLC shall not be responsible for the transfer of such data or information to another product given to the customer as an exchange, or for the loss of any data or information, or to maintain the confidentiality of any data, or information still residing on the returned product.
Limited Warranty
Wired Watts values their customers and wants to create a positive experience for all when purchasing through us. The warranty listed below is our minimum level of assurance. We strive to help all our customers, ensuring they are satisfied.
Defective Merchandise / Warranty
The following products include a 1-year warranty from the date of delivery.
- LED Pixels
- Cabling
- Flood lights
- Power Supplies
- Panels
- Enclosures
Manufacture Warranty
The following include a 90-day warranty for manufactures defects.
- Kulp Controllers
- Falcon Controllers
- P2T Controllers
- Hanson Products
Final Sale / No Warranty
We do not offer a warranty for the following products:
- Beagle Bone Black
- Pocket Beagle
- Raspberry Pi
- Free or Promotional products
- Products not directly bought with Wired Watts
Warranty Details
- Warranty is not valid on products that are submerged in water, used outside of their intended purpose or limitations, modified, incorrectly wired or crossed connected, custom items or custom-built items.
- Our products are warranted for seasonal use only. Products installed permanently and used throughout the year will not be valid under warranty.
- Indoor panels that are used outdoors or show outdoor usage such as water damage or rust will not be warranted. Missing shaders on panels are not covered under warranty. Panels replaced under warranty may be from a different batch. Coloration may differ.
Wired Watts is not responsible for the following incidental costs associated with products covered under warranty, including but not limited to:
- Reimbursement for the loss of time or performance (e.g. the time it took to put up your display or time display was down while waiting on a replacement)
- Damage to persons or to one's property resulting from improper use or hook up of product
Obtaining Warranty Service
- To determine if a product is defective, a help ticket must be submitted and addressed before a return or exchange can be made. To help determine if you have a defective product, please give us a call at 860-468-9288 or send us an e-mail at info@wiredwatts.com.
- Often times one may believe they have a defective product, however, it is often a configuration, wiring, or other issue that is causing a problem. It is our goal to help our customers determine if their product is defective or if it is something else causing the issue. This eliminates the customer receiving a new replacement and having the same issues.
- If a product is deemed defective, you will receive a return shipping label to send the product back to us. Defective merchandise is required to be returned so we can confirm a defect exists and further exam.
- If a product is returned and deemed not defective, the product will be returned to the customer. The customer will be responsible for the cost of having the item shipped. If a product is received and deemed defective, a new replacement will be sent out.
- Products may be repaired or in rare cases refurbished.
Cancellations
- You may request to cancel an order by calling us at 1-80-GOT-WATTS or sending us an email at info@wiredwatts.com. We will do our best to cancel the order, however, if the order is already in process or has already been packed or shipped, we will be unable to cancel the order. At this point, a return will be required.
- Shipping is non-refundable.
- We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of 5% on any canceled orders.
Changes to Orders
- You may request changes to your order via phone. If an order is already in process, packed or shipped, changes cannot be made to your order. A new order will need to be placed and processed separately.
- At checkout, carefully review your order to ensure you have everything you need.
Backorders
When an order is placed, and items in that order are on backorder, the whole order will be held until the backordered items are received internally. If the order weighs more than 50lbs, at our sole discretion, we may opt to send out up to 50lbs of the order before the backordered items arrive. Once the backordered items arrive internally, we will typically ship the completed order within 0 - 5 business days of receiving the backordered items. These times are not exact and may vary.
Price Match / Adjustments
We do not offer post-purchase "re-ring" price matching on product prices.
Items Damaged in Shipping
Damaged items or boxes must be reported immediately to the delivery driver and / or the shipper. Damage must be noted immediately to make a claim. If boxes are visibly damaged, we recommend opening the boxes in the presence of the delivery driver or possibly even refusing the shipment depending on the condition. Our boxes are well packed when they leave the fulfillment center. All items are tightly packed. Damage is the responsibility of the freight company but must be reported properly.
Changes to this Policy
You can review the most current version of the Return / Exchange Policy at any time at this page. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of the Return /Exchange Policy at any time and for any reason by posting updates and/or changes to our website. We will alert you about any changes by updating the "Updated" date of the Return / Exchange Policy, and you waive any right to receive specific notice of each such change. The updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to this website following the posting of any changes to Return / Exchange Policy constitutes acceptance of those changes.
